Comment vous aurez un impact

  • Réaliser des mandats complexes sur le terrain liés à l'installation, à la mise en service, à l'entretien, aux inspections, aux essais et à la réparation d'équipements haute tension jusqu'à 800 kV.
  • Fournir un soutien technique et des services spécialisés à distance et directement chez les clients.
  • Diagnostiquer et résoudre de façon autonome des problèmes électriques et mécaniques afin de minimiser les interruptions d'équipement.

Votre profil
  • Le candidat doit déjà détenir une autorisation de travail lui permettant de travailler pour Hitachi Énergie au Canada.
  • Formation professionnelle et expérience en mécanique industrielle et en électricité; un diplôme en génie électrique ou en génie mécanique constitue un atout.
  • Minimum de 5 années d'expérience en services techniques sur le terrain.
  • Expérience pratique avec des équipements haute tension jusqu'à 800 kV.
  • Connaissance des essais électriques et de la maintenance des disjoncteurs.
  • Expérience auprès de services publics d'électricité.
  • Expérience en coordination et en gestion de projets électriques sur le terrain.

The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy's Grid Integration and High Voltage Service team and play a key role in maintaining some of the most critical assets powering today's electrical infrastructure. As a Field Service Specialist, you will perform advanced field service activities involving installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, repair, testing, and modernization of high-voltage circuit breakers and related equipment up to 800 kV. Working independently on complex technical assignments, you will support utility customers across Canada, the United States, and Mexico while contributing to the reliability, safety, and performance of the power grid. How You'll Make an Impact
  • Execute complex field service assignments involving installation, commissioning, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of high-voltage equipment up to 800 kV.
  • Deliver technical support and service solutions both remotely and at customer sites.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues independently to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Coordinate field activities with customers and internal teams to meet service commitments and project schedules.
  • Manage on-site service projects and provide technical guidance during field operations.
  • Assemble and operate advanced testing equipment to perform inspections, maintenance, and performance verification.

Your Background
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.
  • Professional training and experience in industrial mechanics and electrical systems; a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience performing technical field service activities.
  • Practical experience working with high-voltage equipment up to 800 kV.
  • Knowledge of electrical testing practices and circuit breaker maintenance.
  • Experience supporting electrical utility customers and coordinating electrical service projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and testing equipment software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work throughout Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80%.
  • Fluent in both French and English.
