  • Manage communications and logistics between Repair Station and OEM Stock/Inspection teams to ensure material availability.

Full Job Description
The Repair Station Material Management Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end management of replacement parts and consumables. This role involves receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and tracking inventory, ensuring that ensuring that technicians have the necessary materials to perform maintenance in compliance with aviation regulations (such as FAA, EASA, or military standards).

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/MRP systems to ensure material availability.
  • Inspect incoming parts for damage, count accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain traceability documentation (e.g., 8130-3, CofC) for all parts to meet regulatory standards.
  • Kit parts and certificates for repair orders.
  • Interact with internal suppliers and expedite critical parts to prevent maintenance delays.
  • Order replenishment stock from OEM Stock/Production.
  • Manage communications and logistics between Repair Station and OEM Stock/Inspection teams to ensure material availability.
  • Cycle counting of repair inventory.
  • Periodically review material usage trends and adjust materials and quantities to ensure material availability.
  • Backup to Material Planner.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Preferred Education
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain or logistics is preferred.

Role Requirements
  • Must participate in Korry's FAA/DOT Drug & Alcohol testing plan.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Preferred Experience
  • 1-3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory control, preferably in an aviation or industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with AS9100/ISO quality systems.
  • Knowledge of FAA regulation/aviation supply systems is highly desirable.


Required Skills and Abilities
  • Strong computer skills, including ERP software and Microsoft Office, for tracking inventory and data entry.
  • Precise record-keeping and ability to maintain a 5S compliant workspace.
  • Ability to resolve part discrepancies or documentation issues.
  • Effective communication with technicians, inspectors, and internal suppliers.


Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent use of personal computers, database and digital platforms, and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machines and computer printers.
  • Frequently use of hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, touch or feel equipment, materials.
  • The person in this position needs to frequently move inside the office.
  • Frequent close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Lift, carry, push and or pull 1-30 lbs as needed.
  • Sit, stand and walk for 1 - 10 hours per day.
  • Wear appropriate PPE (respirators, safety glasses, gloves, smocks).
  • Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, vision protection, steel-toed shoes, and appropriate protective equipment as required.

Pay Range
Please note the typical hiring range is $34.74 - $47.00 hourly. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
