Role Summary:

This role offers the opportunity to support sustainable Global dealer rental revenue growth by advancing product technology strategies, strengthening demand management practices, and improving how data and insights guide business decisions. You will help shape scalable rental and used growth by partnering across teams, aligning technology with market demand, and turning strategy into practical execution that delivers measurable value. 


As the Product Marketing & Demand Manager, you will help with driving change management, supporting the strategy for rental & used growth and will focus on product and configuration optimization, technology utilization and demand management discipline. 



What You Will Do (Job Duties):

  • Lead marketing technology and marketing data strategies by partnering with internal teams and external suppliers to define business requirements, guide product roadmaps from a rental perspective, and deliver solutions that support business objectives. 
  • Manage, mentor, and develop team members while overseeing related budgets, enablement plans, and capability-building efforts. 
  • Shape and execute strategies for marketing technology, rental product application, and processes that improve customer engagement, operational effectiveness, and business outcomes. 
  • Plan and prioritize roadmaps, scope, resources, budgets, and risks to ensure marketing technology initiatives are delivered effectively and aligned to business needs. 
  • Evaluate current tools, systems, and capabilities; identify improvement opportunities; and recommend practical solutions that strengthen marketing performance. 
  • Monitor the evolving technology landscape to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges that can inform future strategy.

Top Candidates Will Have:  

  • Experience in heavy equipment rental, used equipment, fleet operations, or dealer operations, ideally within construction equipment, industrial equipment, or a related industry. 
  • Demonstrated success in the understanding of rental fleet performance, asset utilization, equipment lifecycle management, and used equipment readiness or remarketing practices. 
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar dealer operations, sales and service workflows, customer needs, and the factors that influence profitability across rental and used equipment channels. 
  • Ability to analyze operational and financial data, identify performance trends, and translate insights into practical strategies that improve growth, efficiency, and customer experience. 
  • Experience partnering across sales, service, operations, finance, and dealer-facing teams to align priorities, resolve issues, and drive execution. 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and lead continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Summary Pay Range:

$159,120.00 - $238,680.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
