As part of the Siemens Government Technologies Services management team, the Digital Solutions Business Manager leads a team of Operations and Sales Support Specialists in support of the total DS portfolio. This leader will be responsible for ensuring that the Siemens Government DS team is able to focus on best-in-class Sales and Services by coordinating and reporting on all aspects of the business activities.
This leader will also define and implement business process changes to improve the level of overall financial success, information consistency, contract compliance and team efficiency across the DS portfolio.
The following are primary tasks for this leadership position:
• Manage a team of Operations Specialists to provide business and contract Operations support for Services setup and delivery
• Manage a team of Sales Support Specialists to provide contract support for Software sales and maintenance delivery
• Develop strong business relationships with the key business stakeholders both internal and external to Siemens Government
• Develop strong business relationships with the key customer stakeholders in support of their overall Siemens investment value
• Oversee, support and ensure the consistent high quality of new opportunity development tasks including financial planning and proposal development
• Ensure the development of business metrics and key artifacts across the DS accounts portfolio
• Drive the monthly creation and review of routine financial reporting and escalations
• Lead the training and documentation of best practices and policies across the DS Business Management team
• Monitor the key business performance indicators (KPIs) to identify and address issues early with leadership stakeholders
• Work closely with the Finance team to ensure smooth and compliant business transactions across the DS portfolio
• Work closely with the partner Finance teams to ensure smooth and compliant business transactions through intercompany and 3rd party transactions
• Review team performance and provide on-going opportunities for development and growth
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance or equivalent years of experience in Government contracting or a related field
• Minimum of four (4) years in Project coordination or administration experience or equivalent Project Support Experience
• Three (3) years of experience working in a customer-interfacing environment
• Three (3) years of experience with Defense and/or US Federal Government projects, contracts, policies and procedures
• Working knowledge of the administration functions of the Services business including project setup, contract structure, progress reporting, revenue recognition and billing
• Experience in identifying and implementing cost savings measures within services projects
• Leadership skills and proven track record of supporting multi-disciplinary teams, including services delivery and project management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications with the ability to present complex issues to multi-level audiences of company and government executives with a sense for urgency
Travel:
• Up to 15% annually
Security Clearance
• Candidate must be a United States citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S DoD Government Security Clearance if required at a later date.

The pay range for this position is $146,700.00 - $200,000.00 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
