SUMMARYDetail-oriented, proactive, and experienced Manager to oversee quality assurance, quality control, repair quality, maintenance compliance, and equipment readiness across well servicing operations. Must have strong leadership, failure analysis, CMMS, and communication skills. The Manager is responsible for ensuring repairs, inspections, preventive maintenance, rebuilds, vendor work, equipment modifications, and return-to-service decisions meet company standards, OEM requirements, regulatory expectations and customer needs. This role also supports maintenance management by improving PM compliance, reducing repeat failures and strengthening field/shop repair discipline.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Ensure applicable API standards are understood, implemented and followed consistently across the organization
- Develop and maintain company equipment standards, inspection checklists, repair acceptance criteria and return-to-service requirements for well-servicing equipment.
- Audit field yards, maintenance shops and vendor work to verify compliance with API standards, company procedures, and repair-quality requirements.
- Standardize parts and materials, component selection, repair methods, preventive maintenance tasks, asset data, failure coding and equipment readiness expectations.
- Ensure completed refurbishments, major maintenance and repair work on company equipment is reviewed and tested before acceptance.
- Identify quality escapes, incomplete repairs, repeat failures, rework and vendor quality issues; assign corrective actions and verify completion.
- Participate in failure analysis for major events, premature component failures, safety-sensitive defects and chronic equipment issues.
- Maintain inspection documentation, corrective action logs, photos, test records and final release documentation.
- Support maintenance leadership in improving equipment readiness, repair quality, uptime and cost-effective maintenance execution.
- Monitor preventive maintenance compliance, processes, overdue PMs, inspection quality and recurring maintenance plan gaps.
- Review work orders for complete failure descriptions, parts usage, labor, meter readings, cause/correction detail and follow-up actions.
- Monitor equipment failure trends, downtime drivers, nonproductive time, repeat failures, chronic assets, rework and high-cost component issues.
- Develop or improve maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guides, standard job plans and technician inspection expectations.
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, HSE, Engineering, Supply Chain and vendors to resolve equipment quality and reliability issues.
- May be required to support urgent operational issues outside normal business hours and travel as much as 50% based on operational needs.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE- 7-10 years of relevant experience in drilling, well servicing, heavy equipment maintenance, QA/QC, reliability or field operations; 3-5 years in a leadership role preferred.
- Deep technical understanding of well-servicing equipment including workover rigs, pressure control, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, hoisting systems, trucks and trailers.
- Experience with preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, root cause analysis, inspections, repair acceptance criteria and return-to-service controls.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with field personnel, operations leaders, vendors and senior management.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret equipment performance data, failure trends, maintenance history and work order information.
COMPUTER- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CMMS systems, maintenance reporting tools and electronic recordkeeping systems.
