Overview

About the Role

We have an opportunity for a Reliability Risk Analyst to join our team in our St. Louis, Missouri office. In this role, you will support LS Power's Transmission Reliability Risk Management Program by conducting risk assessments, documenting and developing effective internal controls, and producing risk and control reporting for management. LS Power Grid operates within the NERC reliability standards framework, and this role supports the compliance program that underpins our transmission operations. You will work cross-functionally with subject matter experts in Maintenance, Operations, Transmission Planning, Operational Technology, and Transmission Asset Management, and will report to the Vice President, Reliability Compliance.

 

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

  • Support the Transmission Risk Management Program through an effective risk and controls framework, including identification, evaluation, testing, and monitoring of operational, reliability, compliance, and security controls.
  • Facilitating internal risk assessments and assisting subject matter experts in identifying, defining, and documenting key risk indicators.
  • Maintain and update risk management program tools to monitor and test internal controls.
  • Develop and maintain risk dashboards and reporting for management.
  • Prepare presentation materials for internal governance and management meetings.
  • Support the development of training materials related to the Risk Management Program.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance, Operations, Transmission Planning, Operational Technology, and Asset Management teams.
  • Complete other projects as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Are proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with compliance or work management software is a plus.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly across all levels of the organization.
  • Are organized and able to manage multiple assignments, occasionally under time constraints, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Are able to work independently with direction and collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
  • Are willing to travel occasionally, approximately 10% of the time.
