RELIABILITY MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
REPORTS TO: Assistant Plant Manager

JOB SUMMARY (This is an Exempt Position)
Directs the maintenance programs and processes of the assigned plant(s) to ensure timely and effective production. Coordinates with other management staff to ensure efficiency in preventative maintenance and new equipment installation.

Risk Management
• Perform and Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis for recurring failures to recommend and drive corrective actions
• Responsible for tracking and driving plant process systems' reliability and implementation of targeted corrective maintenance projects for improvement
• Direct control and oversight of plant mechanical predictive methodologies: Oil Analysis, Vibration Analysis, and UT crack detection as necessary to monitor critical equipment condition.
Proactive Maintenance
• Responsible for SAP PM module and equipment data, training, and continuous improvement, including the Preventive Maintenance Routines, Lubrication, and Measurement Points as well as new asset setup
• Responsible for monitoring, records, and communication with DALOG continuous monitoring system while driving needed actions in response to status
Collaboration and Communication
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to develop and train proactive maintenance strategies and proper inspections and repair techniques that enhance asset reliability
Continuous Improvement
• Work with plant engineering team to ensure the maintainability and reliability of newly installed and modified equipment
• Monitor effectiveness of maintenance interventions and system modifications.
Leadership
• Provide technical support to plant Departments to help achieve necessary Utilization, Rates, and Efficiency targets
• Directly supervise and manage the labor to maintain the plant Dust Collector equipment, water and air distribution piping and associated auxiliary equipment, and plant buildings upkeep.
Additional Duties
• Overseeing the mechanical hourly personnel.
• Overseeing mechanical contractors when on site.
• Be involved in plantwide projects.
• Responsible for working closely with vendors and developing major maintenance budget.
• Experience with SAP system, work order and purchase order process.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques and implementation.
• Responsible for monitoring departmental skills requirements and developing necessary training scope.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
BSEE or BSME degree is preferred or a combination of education and experience that would allow the successful candidate to perform the duties as may be required.
3-5 years cement experience is preferred.
3-5 years heavy industrial or mining experience preferred
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Must have a valid Driver's License.
