Full Job Description
The primary role of the Reliability Engineer is to track, analyze, and improve upon the reliability of the plant equipment

This is an onsite position. At this time, we are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role, either now or in the future. Therefore, we cannot move forward with candidates who would require sponsorship and or are on (e.g., H-1B, F-1, STEM OPT, OPT) visas.

What you will work on:
  • Guide efforts to improve reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems through multifunctional team meetings (TTI)
  • Analyze, update, and improve equipment PM system (Maximo)
  • Identify and develop solutions to reduce losses from repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations including capacity, quality, cost or regulatory compliance issues
  • Apply Root-Cause and Root-Cause Failure Analysis (RCA, RCFA)
  • Provide subject matter expert (SME) level technical support to production, maintenance management, and technical personnel
  • Apply value analysis to repair/replace, repair/re-design, and make/buy decisions
  • Initiate spare part asset inventory with collaboration between maintenance and engineering
  • Own, initiate, and track PdM systems throughout the plant. Consistently review technologies to determine where improvements can be made.
  • Project Manage in-house and 3rd party equipment upgrades
  • Work with Engineering, Maintenance, and production to execute equipment reliability improvements

Relationships
  • Report to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager
  • Strategic in nature and should not be relegated to a production or maintenance engineering tactical function
  • Must be able to work with Maintenance and engineering as well as report out to Executive Leadership

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in a combination of climate-controlled office space and manufacturing/production environments.
  • Exposure to noise, heat, fumes, dust, and moving equipment may occur while on the production floor.
  • Required personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn in designated areas.
  • Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.

  • Safety and environmental targets are met
  • Quality levels meet acceptable standards
  • Department productivity meets acceptable levels
  • Successful completion of required quality audits


What you will bring to the role:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field, OR equivalent relevant experience is required
  • Three plus (3+) years heavy industrial experience preferred
  • Strong PC skills including Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, AutoCAD, MS Project and Access, project scheduling, and specification on writing
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with PdM systems and technologies
  • Maximo knowledge a plus
  • Hydraulic, Combustion, and Electrical knowledge a plus
