Position Description:

We are seeking a Release Engineer who will be responsible for coordinating the release management lifecycle in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment. As a CGI Release Engineer, you will be joining the International Diplomacy, Assistance and Commerce (IDAC) group to support the mission of U.S. security, economic well being, and worldwide relations. Working with various clients in the US federal space, IDAC supports missions that foster national security, foreign relations and resilient democratic societies.

This position may work from any of the following locations: Arlington, VA, Charleston, SC, or Knoxville, TN.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Assist in Release Management process and its governance.
o Coordinate releases across the program among various development teams.
o Assist in communicating release details and schedules to the Business as required.
o Assist in the negotiation, planning, and managing all release activities.
o Maintain documentation related to Release Management procedures.
. Provide tools and processes to help product management and project teams' track and release work.
. Work independently to identify Release Management process problems, and design, develop, and implement solutions to make improvements.
. Assist in managing and optimizing the flow of value through the release process.
. Assist in facilitating PI Planning readiness activities and the PI planning event.
. Maintain program metrics by tracking the execution of features and capabilities.
. Facilitate periodic synchronization events among Scrum teams across the program.
. Contribute to the management of risks, dependencies, and Agile maturity initiatives.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

An interim Secret clearance is required to begin working onsite with our client, and a Secret clearance must be maintained throughout the project duration. Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:
. 3+ years of release and/or project management experience on IT related project, preferred in Business Intelligence or Analytics.
. Ability to conduct independent research to lead or support the resolution of complex questions and issues.
. Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross functional teams.
. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to integrate information from multiple sources.
. Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
. Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
. Experience working in an Agile based environment.
. Experience with Advanced Excel, PPT, and JIRA, preferred.
. SAFe or PMP certification, preferred.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,900.00 $153,300.00.
