Relationship Manager

FLSA Status: Full Time/Exempt

Location/Branch: Irvine, CA

A Relationship Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing banking relationships that contribute to the Bank's overall business objectives. This position works with existing and prospective customers to understand their financial needs and provide appropriate deposit and other banking solutions.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities (Duties not limited to those provided here):

  • Develop and maintain profitable commercial banking relationships through active business development, networking, referrals, and calling efforts, with a primary focus on developing comprehensive banking relationships by identifying customer needs and introducing appropriate deposit, treasury management, and other Bank products and services.
  • Manage and grow a deposit portfolio, maintain high levels of service, monitor changing risk conditions, and proactively address customer needs.
  • Coordinate with Deposit Operations, branch staff, and other departments to facilitate client account opening and maintenance.
  • Maintain an active business development pipeline, document calling activities, and provide management with periodic forecasts of anticipated deposit production.
  • Maintain knowledge of market conditions, trends, applicable regulations, bank policies and procedures, and competitive offerings.
  • Represent the Bank professionally in the marketplace and participate in required training.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
