Full Job Description

The Relationship Manager II, Community Banking is responsible for the acquisition, retention and expansion of new and existing loans, deposit, and treasury relationships. This position provides exceptional customer service by taking ownership of the customer experience.

 

What You'll Do

 

  • Responsible for annual goals tied to loan and deposit volume, cross-sales, call planning/prospecting and fee income generation

  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships with businesses that generally have up to $10M in revenue

  • Maintain and develop portfolio by assessing and meeting client’s business and personal needs; negotiate proper loan structure and effectively cross sell products

  • Take ownership of credit sheet content and quality by working closely with the portfolio management team on their successful and timely completion

  • Work closely with internal partners to generate internal referrals as wells as developing an external network of centers of influence

  • Take part in bank events during and after hours

  • Responsible for understanding the impact of lending on the bank’s CRA goals

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related major

  • Minimum 6 years of banking experience in a relationship management capacity

  • Completion of formal bank credit training is highly preferred

  • Solid understanding of general credit and risk principles, mitigates, and banking policies/procedures

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Prior B2B, small business banking, or consultative outside sales experience in financial services

Compensation

 

The estimated salary range for this role is $85,000-$110,000 along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
