Position: Investment Analyst
Team: REITs Long/Short Equity
Location: New York City or Dallas
Role Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Analyst to join a L/S Equity REITs team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5+ years of experience in public equities, with a strong academic background and a proven track record of excellence.
Responsibilities - Conduct in-depth fundamental research and analysis on REIT companies.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic factors impacting the sector.
- Support portfolio manager in portfolio construction and risk management.
- Participate in meetings with company management teams, industry experts, and sell-side analysts.
- Continuously update and improve investment theses based on new information and market developments.
Qualifications - 2-5 years of relevant experience, focused on REIT public equities.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of financial statements, modeling, and valuation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with AI tools, or eagerness to build fluency.
The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000 (USD). In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a discretionary performance bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of factors such as geographic location, work experience, qualifications, and skill level.
