About the roleMonitors treaty loss activity and determines appropriate actions/notifications. Maintains reinsurance contract files and communicates treaty information. Adheres to reinsurance security guidelines. Coordinates reinsurance audits. Prepares reinsurance proposals. Provides reinsurance training and assists with collections upon request.
How does this role make an impact?- Coordinates and verifies reinsurance accounting activities, including but not limited to reserves, losses, premium, commission, and Loss Adjustment Expenses (LAE).
- Reviews reinsurance contracts to determine coverages, rates, and terms needed for accounting and underwriting purposes.
- Creates standard and ad hoc reports and analyses, presentations and training.
Do you have what we're looking for?Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
- Knowledge of accounting processes
- Experience with financial analysis
Base Pay Range:$77,600-$106,700
The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.
Incentive Pay:In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
