Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Technicians preferred, but unlicensed techs will be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a veterinary clinic.
• Emergency or specialty experience is advantageous.
• Strong reliability, organizational skills, and commitment to high-quality patient and client care.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and collect diagnostic samples.
• Monitor anesthesia, sedation, and assistance during procedures.
• Manage fluid therapy by placing IV catheters.
• Administer medications via IV, IM, and SQ routes.
• Assist with diagnostic imaging including radiographs and ultrasound support.
• Provide compassionate nursing care and monitor hospitalized patients.
• Prepare for surgeries using sterile techniques and manage surgical instruments.
