Job Description:

  • $5,000 Sign On Bonus for Eligible Candidates
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • This position supports a busy vascular surgery practice and is split between two office locations. Monday through Thursday at our Tampa office located at 3000 Medical Park Drive, and Fridays at our Wesley Chapel office located at 26823 Tanic Drive.
  • The role is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the vascular surgery practice, collaborating closely with providers, clinical staff, and patients to ensure an exceptional patient experience and efficient practice workflow. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced specialty environment and traveling between designated office locations as part of their regular schedule.

  • Attends department meetings and engages in positive dialogue to support department objectives.
  • Obtains high-quality scans by following proper exam protocols and adapting procedures to each patient's medical situation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Confirms patient and exam accuracy using two patient identifiers before administering exams.
  • Performs, documents, and reports all procedures in accordance with departmental policy.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Abdomen, Abdominal Doppler, OB/Gyn, Small Parts, Vascular, and Interventional Sonographic procedures [Required]
  • Ability to learn and master new tasks related to the computer and AGFA Pacs system [Required]
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various diverse backgrounds [Required]
  • Ability to function independently with little or no supervision [Required]
  • Ability to read and write legibly in English and perform basic mathematics skills [Required]
  • Ability to communicate effectively [Required]
  • Ability to perform venous ultrasound Doppler [Required]
  • Ability for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative [Required]
  • Knowledge of PACS and associated equipment [Preferred]

Education:
  • Associate [Preferred]

Work Experience:
  • 5+ years experience in vascular sonography [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) [Required] OR
  • Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography (R.T.(VS)(ARRT)) [Required] OR
  • Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) [Required]
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
