Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager

As an RN-Unit Manager, you will play a key leadership role on our clinical team-overseeing daily operations, supporting and mentoring nursing staff, and ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care. Your leadership will help create a positive, collaborative environment where both residents and team members feel supported

Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Responsibilities
  • Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and directs nursing services for residents on the assigned unit
  • Reviews complaints and grievances made or filed by staff and makes appropriate reports to the Director of Nursing as required or necessary
  • Ensures an adequate stock of medications, medical supplies, equipment, etc., is maintained on the unit at all times to adequately meet resident needs and notifies appropriate personnel of needs
  • Manages staff, makes nursing/aide assignments, and conducts nursing rounds throughout the shift and as needed
  • Provides education, as needed, to staff, residents, and resident family members
  • Assists in the development of written preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the nursing needs of each resident
  • Tracks treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines
  • Coordinates with supervising physicians to ensure a smooth recovery process for residents
  • Ensures staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or Administrator
