How you'll make an impact in this role- Determine patient care requirements and subsequently develop and distribute patient care assignments for clinical/non-clinical or interdisciplinary teams, including licensed and non-licensed staff.
- Delegate suitable duties to clinical/non-clinical or interdisciplinary teams of licensed and non-licensed caregivers and support staff, in accordance with the applicable State Nurse Practice Act and based on assessed skills and abilities.
- Gather and utilize information from other members of the clinical/non-clinical or interdisciplinary team to formulate comprehensive care plans for all patients.
- Evaluate the care provided by other licensed and non-licensed caregivers and support staff.
- Contribute to the staff hiring process for the shift by conducting interviews and offering hiring recommendations to the clinical/non-clinical leader.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in.
Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience
required.
What additional preferences we're seeking- Bachelors in Nursing preferred.
- PACU or Pre and Post surgical leadership background.
