The MO HealthNet Division has an opening for a Registered Nurse Supervisor within the Chief Medical and Transformation Office located in Cole County.

Semi-monthly salary: The current rate for this position is $3,431.69. Individual(s) selected for this position may receive a higher rate based on a pay differential (e.g. shift, or time-of-service pay).

Annual Salary: $82,360.56

Job Location: This position is located at the newly renovated Howerton State Office Building; 615 Howerton Court, Jefferson City, MO. All internal promotional applicants are encouraged to apply as there may be alternate office space available.

Responsibilities - What you'll do

What you'll do:
  • Supervise a dynamic team of registered nurses with a diverse set of responsibilities, prioritizing work efforts and focus areas.
  • Assist in efforts to monitor the provision of services in managed care, including care management and utilization of benefits.
  • Request, monitor and make recommendations based on data populated into reports and dashboards, working closely with the data management office.
  • Review research on the fee-for-service population to determine best practices based upon their unique needs, driving better health outcomes and lowering costs.
  • Work closely with the clinical policy team to drive best practices that will transfer to the managed care health plans.
  • Report directly to the Chief Medical and Transformation Officer to carry out research, answer questions, and implement best practices.
  • Work closely with the pharmacy unit to ensure policies align.
  • Work with the HCBS policy unit to manage alignment with participant's clinical needs and home and community-based services
  • Serve as MHD's liaison in meetings on clinical topics, held by DHSS and DMH or other agencies.
  • Work with the team of nurses to provide information to MHD's education team to produce materials and training opportunities.
  • Other projects as assigned.

Qualifications - All you need for success

Minimum Qualifications:

Licensure as a Registered Nurse and 2-4 years of experience as a registered nurse. Experience with supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Medicaid and Social Services programs.
  • Experience with self-led projects and assignments.
