Sun River Health is currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our team in Southampton, NY. ****$2,700 Sign-On Bonus for Eligible External Applicants - Terms and Conditions Apply**** Job Type: Full-time Pay Range: $45.00- $50.32 hourly Summary: The Staff Registered Nurse is a licensed nurse responsible for delivery of nursing care directly to individual clients. The Registered Nurse maintains the quality of client care through the ongoing processes of assessment, planning and implementation of nursing activities at the facility. Responsibilities: • Develops, implements and evaluates the nursing care regimens for clients • Plans, coordinates and assesses client care. • Identifies client needs and provides direct nursing care based on the client's care plan. • Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement and evaluate client care. • Functions as preceptor to students, new hire candidates and other clinical team members/ staff when needed • Assists with Quality Assurance audits as assigned. • Identifies quality issues and opportunities for improving quality of care. • Documents client care with accurate and accessible records. • Administer prescribed medication to clients and keeps accurate records of all medication administered in accordance with law and Sun River Health policies and procedures • Utilizes standing orders in accordance with Sun River Health policies and procedures • Communicates with Pharmacy, Laboratories and other vendors as needed. • Assists with medication refills per Sun River Health protocols • Maintains professional competence through participation in staff development and educational program. • Provides clinical education and counseling to patients for health promotion and disease prevention to improve health outcomes Requirements: • Minnimum Education Required: Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) • Minimum Work-Related Experience: 0-1 year • Preferred Work-Related Experience: 2-4 years Minimum Licensure: • Minimum Requirement: NYS RN Licensed and CPR/Infection Control Certification Benefits At Sun River Health, we are committed to building a personal relationship with our team and supporting you in every way we can.
