RN Unit Manager Qualifications & Responsibilities:- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Current, unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License
- 2 years SNF Management Experience
- BLS, IV Certified
- Previous staff management experience preferred
- Supervise nursing staff on the assigned shift and ensure quality resident care
- Conduct nursing rounds throughout the shift
- Provide education and support to staff, residents, and resident family members
- Assess the unique needs of each resident and help determine appropriate treatment plans
- Monitor treatments and resident progress in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Coordinate with physicians and other members of the care team to support positive outcomes
- Ensure staff perform their duties in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or Administrator
