RN Unit Manager Qualifications & Responsibilities:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Current, unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License
  • 2 years SNF Management Experience
  • BLS, IV Certified
  • Previous staff management experience preferred
  • Supervise nursing staff on the assigned shift and ensure quality resident care
  • Conduct nursing rounds throughout the shift
  • Provide education and support to staff, residents, and resident family members
  • Assess the unique needs of each resident and help determine appropriate treatment plans
  • Monitor treatments and resident progress in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
  • Coordinate with physicians and other members of the care team to support positive outcomes
  • Ensure staff perform their duties in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or Administrator
