Registered Nurse (RN) - Respiratory Intermediate Care UnitPark Ridge, IL

Where You Will Work:25-bed unit that provides nursing care to a wide scope of diverse patient populations requiring telemetry monitoring related to medical, surgical or cardiac-related issues or also requiring ventilator support in our Magnet-designated, level 1 trauma, teaching hospital. Excellent nursing culture and exposure to patients with diverse and complex medical issues to build the skills and knowledge and grow in your nursing career.
We're Looking For: - Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS within 6 months of hire
- Requires 1 year minimum of Medical/Surgical nursing experience to be considered
- Vent experience highly desired
What You'll Do:- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
