Salary Range: $64.50 - $71.50 per hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Position Overview: 

Provides general nursing care to residents in the Continuing Care Center. RN II requires six (6) months of recent full-time skilled or acute care experience in a skilled or acute care facility or the equivalent and/or has been deemed competent by the department manager. The RN III, RN IV, RN V performs similar patient care duties but accepts higher degrees of leadership and education. Specific task elements are generally outlined below and may be found in department task lists and competency check off lists. May perform specialized tasks as outlined in the position competency check-off and task elements.

Required:

• Current CA RN License
• Current BLS Certification
• 1+ years' RN experience in a long term care facility or equivalent

Preferred:

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Knowledge of Det Norske Veritas (DNV)
