Job Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Full Time Night Shift Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 3 East Stroke/Telemetry unit. This is an excellent opportunity to care for stroke and telemetry patients in a fast-paced acute care environment while working alongside a highly skilled, supportive clinical team.

As a member of the 3 East Team, you will deliver exceptional patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary partners, and play a key role in improving patient outcomes in a dynamic and rewarding clinical setting.

Full Time Nights | 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM | Rotating Weekends & Holidays Required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following statements describe the general nature and level of work performed and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties.

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care for telemetry and stroke patients within a fast-paced acute care environment while managing varying levels of patient acuity.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns/interventions appropriately.
  • Utilize evidence-based nursing practice to support safe patient outcomes, medication administration, stroke protocols, and telemetry monitoring standards.
  • Collaborate closely with providers, nursing leadership, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and continuity of care throughout the shift.
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, discharge planning, and ongoing care needs.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation while ensuring compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support unit operations, patient throughput, and quality improvement initiatives while contributing to a positive team environment.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and collaborative team member while supporting onboarding, mentoring, and development of staff as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Full Time Nights | 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM | Rotating Weekends & Holidays Required

LICENSURE & EXPERIENCE:
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Maryland, or eligibility to practice under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) in accordance with Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) requirements, required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent acute care RN experience, required. Telemetry, stroke, progressive care, or medical surgical experience, preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, prioritization, and cardiac rhythm recognition skills.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Pay Range: $42.35 - $57.40 per hour.
