Shriners Children's Ohio has an opportunity for a full-time night shift Pediatric RN to join our Inpatient Unit. In this unique role, you'll provide compassionate, family-centered care to children requiring Med-Surg and ICU-level nursing-including those recovering from burns and complex craniofacial conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Inpatient RN is responsible for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care in a collaborative, family-centered environment.
- The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family.
- This position will provide leadership by acting as an informal and formal leader, preceptor and through quality improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- BSN degree or in process
- Ohio RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years bedside RN experience (will consider new grads)
- Pediatric and ICU experience
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
The pay range for this position is $35.37 - $53.05. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
