Schedule: Full-Time Rotating Shifts. 3-12 hour shifts per week, alternating weekends.

Fauquier Healths ICU is home to Critical Care trained physicians, making us a unique community hospital that provides 24/7 critical care intensivist coverage. Our ICU provides the services our community needs close to home.

How youll contribute

A Registered Nurse who excels in this role:

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient

What were looking for
Applicants should have an active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact license. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 7 days of hire
• ACLS, NIHSS required within 30 days of hire
• Bachelors degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
