Hiring Range
$38.60 - $53.08/HourlyActual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.

Overview
Works under the supervision of the Director or designee and physicians. Responsible for integration of the nursing process to include, coordination/management of patient care and the organizing, planning, directing and evaluating of services provided. Provides leadership, direction and support to the staffing needs for the designated areas. He/She will orient the Nursing Supervisor role to assist with facility-wide needs. As a clinical expert, ensures provision of clinically competent services by validating staff competency in the provision of a comprehensive range of services and care in accordance with standards of excellence, age-specific and cultural sensitivity established by Riverside Health System and facility goals and strategic plan. The Clinical Coordinator may be required to perform full patient care to support the needs of the unit. The work schedule will require nights and weekends as needed.

What you will do

  • Evaluates clinical performance based on organizational priorities, identifies opportunities for process improvement and takes action to integrate best-practices and improve quality of care.
  • Evaluates service practices, identifies opportunities to improve patient experience and takes appropriate actions that result in increased satisfaction.
  • Facilitates a collaborative work environment; takes action to build and develop a motivated team capable of meeting performance goals through on-boarding, orientation, initial qualification and ongoing staff development.
  • Assists with strategic planning, collaborates on goal setting and action planning, executes and adjusts plans to meet or exceed goals, drives day-to-day integration of goals into operation.
  • Monitors department productivity and efficiency, identifies areas of improvement, and recommends/implements actions plans.
  • Collaborates with the health system, EMS agencies, and the community to identify opportunities for improving access to care, reputation, and relationships to increase average daily volume.


Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelors Degree, Nursing (Preferred)


Experience
  • 2 years Staff Nurse experience (Required)
  • Charge Nurse experience (Preferred)


Licenses and Certifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) (Required)
  • CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) (Required)
