Schedule Details/Additional Information:- 0.8 FTE - four 8-hour shifts
- Monday through Friday shifts start times vary 0530-1100. Monthly schedule will have a mix of each of the start times.
- No weekends, no holidays, no call
- This position is for main Day Surgery and will be responsible for Pre and Post procedure. Previous related Day Surgery, Surgical or Procedural will be highly preferred.
Four 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday/week. No weekends. Shift start times vary 0530-1100.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Surgery

Where You Will Work:The Same Day Surgery department located on the 2nd floor OR surgery services area, serves surgical patients pre and post operatively with 23 flexible beds. The department operates varying shifts from early morning to evening, with employees working 4 out of 6 observed holidays annually and no weekend rotations. Scheduling is self-managed, planned 4 to 8 weeks ahead, including assigned rotating Friday evenings and holidays. Orientation lasts 6-8 weeks for RNs. The culture is fast-paced with strong teamwork and supportive leadership emphasizing engagement and recognition.
We're Looking For: - Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or within 6 months of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or within 6 months of hire.
What You'll Do:- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
