Join Waldo Hospital's Central Staffing Resources Unit as a full-time, 36-hour temporary day shift Registered Nurse and become part of a flexible, highly skilled team that supports exceptional patient care throughout the hospital.

The Central Staffing Resources Unit offers a unique opportunity for experienced RNs to broaden their clinical knowledge while caring for diverse patient populations across a variety of inpatient units. As a member of this team, you'll receive cross-training and gain valuable experience working in multiple clinical areas, allowing you to strengthen your skills, increase your versatility, and make a meaningful impact wherever you're needed most.

In this role, you'll partner with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered care while adapting to the unique needs of each department. You'll perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications and treatments, coordinate care with providers and other healthcare professionals, educate patients and families, and respond confidently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Summary:
The Registered Nurse - Temporary role provides high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes. Collaborates, delegates, and communicates with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. ICU, SCU, ED and PACU RN's require ACLS and PALS Certifications within one year of start date or in accordance with Department guidelines. OB, NICU RN's require NRP Certification within one year of start date or in accordance with Department guidelines.
  3. Experience: One year of recent RN experience preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for any RN assisting Laboring Women required.

The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package.

The pay range for this position is $37.09 to $50.17 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
