Schedule Details/Additional Information:

Mon-Fri, 4 x 10hr shifts. On call during nights and weekends for emergency cases, avg of 5-6 call shifts per month.

Pay Range:
$38.20 - $57.30

Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

Park Ridge, IL

Full time; 10 hour shifts-staggered start times; Mon-Fri

Shared call responsibilities after hours/holidays/weekends

Must be able to meet 30 minute call arrival

Where You Will Work:
  • The unit has four Cath Labs where physicians perform minimally invasive tests and procedures to diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease (complex catheterizations, electrophysiology and structural heart procedures)
  • As a nurse in this department, you will assist the cardiovascular team during intra phase
  • The Cath Lab provides a collaborative/supportive team approach; embraces teaching/learning with a supportive and engaged leadership team

We're Looking For:
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Illinois
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS
  • Must possess at minimum 2 years critical care, Cath Lab, EP and/or IR nursing experience

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
