Schedule Details/Additional Information:

  • Full-time nights: three 12-hour shifts per week, 7pm-7am


  • Every 3rd weekend plus holiday requirements

  • Self-Scheduling Requirement (6-week Schedule)
  • For each 6-week schedule period, every employee must:
  • - Work at least 2 Mondays
  • - Work at least 2 Fridays
  • - Work every third weekend
  • A sign-on bonus is available to applicants who have not received a sign-on bonus from the company for another role within the past 24 months.
  • A relocation bonus is available if current residency is outside of the designated distance to facility.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Atrium Health Mercy - Cardiac Medical Telemetry

Where You Will Work:

4 North is a 29-bed Cardiac Medical Telemetry unit that specializes in the treatment of new onset medical conditions and continuum of care for a diverse population of adult patients. Common medical conditions addressed by our healthcare team include, but are not limited to congestive heart failure, pulmonary edema, hypertension, stroke, cardiac arrhythmias, endocarditis, and initial cardiac work up for chest pain and/or shortness of breath. Initial cardiac work-up typically includes prepping patients for cardiac stress tests.

Expectations We're Looking For:

  • 1 year of inpatient nursing experience preferred. At least 6 months required experience to come outside of the New Grad residency program.


  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.


  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices


  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association


What You'll Do:
• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
