Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN nursing license in Massachusetts.
• BLS certification required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a nursing home setting preferred.
• Ability to supervise and delegate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Unit/Shift Supervisor with nursing unit activities.
• Conduct initial checks on residents at the start of shifts and perform regular assessments.
• Evaluate resident care needs for documentation purposes.
• Document changes in resident's conditions and maintain records accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatment as instructed.
• Assess residents during admission to create interim care plans.
• Provide emergency care when necessary and ensure all incidents are reported accurately.
