Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care primarily for short stay medical/surgical patients.
  • Assist with treatment plans and coordinate with healthcare teams.
  • Monitor patient progress and report changes to medical staff.
  • Participate in the mentoring and precepting program for team development.
  • Promote a positive and supportive environment for patients and staff.

Full Job Description
This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus.

This unit primarily focuses on short stay (1-2 days) medical/surgical patients. This unit is a supportive environment for a new nurse to grow their nursing skills by learning to take care of a wide variety of patients, or an experienced nurse who enjoys caring for patients who move through their hospital stay quickly. We have a great mentoring/precepting program, focused on teamwork, positivity, and growth to support you in your nursing goals.

Qualifications:
