Sinai Hospital's Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Preoperative and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) provides patient-centered care for pediatric and adult patients undergoing same-day surgical procedures. The team manages the full experience from preoperative preparation through recovery and discharge, working alongside anesthesiologists, surgeons, and the interdisciplinary team to prepare patients for discharge home or transition to inpatient care.

JOB SUMMARY:As an RN with OR ASC, the RN provides safe, age-appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families. The Operating Room at Sinai Hospital has a reputation for excellent clinical care, bedside and laboratory research, surgical education, academic collaboration, advanced technology, minimally invasive techniques, evidence-based care, colorful personalities and compassion.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:- At least 2 years of RN OR experience required and Ophthalmology experience is preferred
- Associate's degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing
- Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) Registered Nursing license, or Compact State licensure
- American Heart Association BLS & ACLS
Pay Range: $37.15 to $57.58 Based On Experience
