Job DescriptionUtilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.

- Proficiency in open, laparoscopic and robotic surgery
- Proficiency in scrubbing surgical procedures
- Proficiency in circulating duties
- Experience in General Surgery, Ortho, Neuro, OHNS, GU, GYN, Breast/Plastics, Endoscopy
- Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations
- Excellent verbal and written skills. Must be well organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work independently and under pressure.
- Basic computer skills and general PC knowledge
Preferred qualifications: - Specialty Certification - CNOR
- BSN
Licenses/Certifications - Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- Current American Heart Association CPR certification
Salary Information The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
