Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Jersey City medical practice in a specialized, fully in-office role. The ideal candidate possesses strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a passion for ensuring continuity of care from vaccine administration through form completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative
• Daily phone and portal message triaging, providing clinical guidance, education, and support to families.
• Support provider in patient follow up, including labs and medical inquiries.
• Review and address diagnostic testing results and defer to the provider as needed.
• Review, input and clearance of medical records
• Complete school, camp, and medication forms.
• Complete school/work notes
• Liaise with insurances regarding prior authorizations, patient care, medications reviews, and coordination of care.
Clinical
• Administer of immunizations
• Triaging patients for well and sick visits, working alongside a pediatrician, and maintaining the office environment.
• Perform various diagnostic tests, administer PO medications, blood draws, and assistance in emergency procedures.
• Coordinate and manage patients who need emergency care
• Monitor patients who may receive treatments in office
• Lead flu and vaccine clinics.
• Oversee vaccine inventory management, including limiting vaccine waste, monitoring cold-chain storage temperatures, and ensuring compliance with the New Jersey Immunization Information System (NJIIS) tracking requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey and in the State of New York.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience (experience in pediatrics, family medicine, or outpatient triage is a plus, but not required).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and standard office software (MS Office/Google Workspace).
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong, empathetic phone presence.
• Organization: High level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing accuracy.
Compensation and Benefits:
Our RNs start at $40/hour for their first year with us! We conduct our own in-house training (2-4 weeks long), which is fully covered at your hired pay rate.

Paid Time Off:
Full-time employees accrue 10.67 hours per month (approximately 16 PTO days per year)
Health, Dental, and Vision Benefits:
Full time employees are eligible to participate in the health, dental, and vision insurance plans after 90 days of service. The base level plans are covered 100% by the company. Other level plans include a subsidy from the company.

401k and Profit Share:
After 90 days, you will be eligible for participation and contribute to our 401(k) plan, administered via Principal. After your first year of employment, Tribeca Pediatrics will make an annual Safe Harbor contribution of 3% of your compensation. Eligible employees will also receive a profit share contribution.
