Registered Nurse - Float Pool (Nights)Shift Details
- Full Time
- 3x12 Night Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday rotation required
- 2 On-Call shifts required per 4-week period
- Must be able to float between Med/Surg, ICU, and ED units across two locations
Licensure
- Currently licensed by NYS as a Registered Professional Nurse
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Required Certifications
- BLS - through AHA or RQI system (required during clinical orientation)
- ACLS - through AHA or RQI system (required during clinical orientation)
- PALS - through AHA or RQI system (required during clinical orientation)
- NIHSS - required
- Basic Coronary Care - required within 6 months of hire
- CPI Certification - required within 90 days of hire
Preferred Certifications
- Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association - recommended within 2 years of hire
- TNCC - recommended within 2 years of hire
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care units
- Must be cross-trained and comfortable floating to ICU, ED, Med/Surg, and Med/Surg Telemetry units
- Critical care experience required

- Must be able to provide care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient groups
