REGISTERED NURSE - RNJob SummaryThe Arc Westchester, a leading non-profit social service agency in Westchester County, NY is seeking for a
Registered Nurse - RN.
Responsibilities include:- Provide nursing services in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, and in accordance with basic principles of the professional nurse.
- Promote good health, prevent illness and ensure needed medical care is provided to individuals living in agency residences.
- The RN provide direct and on-call services as well as coordinating and managing of individuals' healthcare.
- Train, supervise and evaluate Approved Medication Administration Personnel (AMAP).
Job Requirements:- Must have a NYS license as a Professional Registered Nurse;
- Requires a degree in Professional Nursing, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least one(1) year of nursing experience.
- Experience with OPWDD Residential Programs.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to keep track and follow medical recommendations.
