The
Registered Dietitian I provides evidence-based patient care directly and indirectly in the roles of nutrition educator and consultant. Practices within Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Standards of Professional Practice and Performance in the application of the nutrition care process (NCP).
Hours: Full time (40 hours), Day Shift (weekends included)
Location: Howard County General Hospital, Columbia MD
Qualifications: - Individuals earning the RDN credentialed after 1/2024 must hold a Master's Degree. Bachelor's Degree acceptable if RDN credentialing was obtained prior to 1/2024
- Must be credentialed as a Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed
- as a Dietitian-Nutritionist (LDN) per respective state's licensing statutes and regulation.
- Work requires knowledge of food science, biochemistry, physiology, management science, behavioral science,
- and social science as applied to human nutrition, human metabolism, influence of nutrition on specific

Salary Range: Minimum 32.40/hour - Maximum 53.48/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
