Pediatric Dental Hygienist who will take great pride in creating truly extraordinary patient experiences while delivering the highest quality dental care.
The
Dental Hygienist will perform all licensed procedures to provide comprehensive care to our patients, including the application of sealants and administration of local anesthetic whenever or wherever necessary in the clinic.
Responsibilities:- Chart initial dental records, including all restored teeth and erupted teeth.
- Take and process dental radiographs.
- Begin probing and documenting key areas to screen for deep depths/periodontal disease in children aged 12 and up.
- Perform supragingival prophylaxis (cleanings) and fluoride varnish applications for patients.
- Perform subgingival scaling when necessary.
- Place sealants using both traditional sealant material and triage material, following office script and protocol.
- Administer local anesthetic if licensed to do so and if requested. Must understand proper location and dosages appropriate for a child's size.
- Assist with monitoring nitrous oxide during sedation.
- Chart initial dental records, including all restorative teeth and erupted teeth, when necessary.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Position Details:- Full-Time
- Schedule will vary, averaging 4 days/week
- Clinic Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:30 am-4:45 pm, Friday 7:30 am-1:00 pm
- Multi Location Practice: Denver & Centennial
- Starting Pay Range: $46-$49, based on experience
