Position: Dental Hygienist
Location: Etobicoke, ON
Clinic: Royce Dental
Specifics about the role:
- Job Type: Part-time and Full-time
- Clinic hours are 7 days a week:
Monday to Friday - 9 AM to 9 PM
Saturday to Sunday - 9 AM to 6 PM.
Candidates are expected to be flexible with their availability.
What you'll do:
- Performing a full range of clinical hygiene services-including scaling, root planning, polishing, and applying topical fluoride-with precision and care.
- Assessing and case typing patients in alignment with clinical protocols to ensure appropriate and personalized care plans.
- Acting as an oral health educator, guiding patients toward healthy habits and long-term preventative care strategies.
- Building strong and trusting patient relationships through every interaction-your positive attitude and professionalism will shine.
- Creating a tailored experience for each patient based on their unique needs, expectations, and goals.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Completion of a recognized Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program.
- Registered and in good standing with CDHO
- Malpractice/liability insurance through CDHA or ODHA
- IPAC certified
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, you're as good at explaining care as you are at providing it.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, you're comfortable managing a busy schedule with ease.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit clinical team.
- Comfort with dental software systems and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience is a bonus!
- Experience in Itero scanning and zoom whitening is considered an asset.
