Water/Wastewater Account Leader to help shape the future of water infrastructure across Texas. Role accountabilities:As a
Water/Wastewater Account Leader in Texas, you will serve as a trusted advisor to municipal and utility clients while helping expand Arcadis' presence in one of the nation's fastest-growing water markets. This role offers significant influence over client strategy, market growth, team development, and the continued expansion of our Texas Water business. Supported by a deep bench of technical specialists, project managers, and national practice leaders, you will focus on growing client relationships, winning strategic pursuits, and delivering exceptional results.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and grow strategic client relationships, identify new opportunities, and lead business development efforts across the Texas water market.
- Lead positioning, capture planning, proposals, presentations, and interviews to win complex water and wastewater projects.
- Oversee the successful delivery of water and wastewater treatment, conveyance, reuse, and pumping facility projects while managing scope, risk, schedule, and financial performance.
- Partner with technical leaders and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions and exceptional client service.
- Mentor and develop engineers and project managers while helping build a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on long-term water and wastewater infrastructure planning and investment.
Travel of approximately 10% is required for client meetings, project visits, and business development activities.

Qualifications & Experience:Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- 15 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain through reciprocity
Preferred Qualifications:
- 20 years of relevant industry experience
- Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
Arcadis offers benefits for full-time and part-time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $148,800 - $223,200. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
