Full Job Description
The Regional Treasury Management Sales Officer is responsible for the development of a marketing plan which acquires new clients and provides the integrated delivery of products and services to existing clients in the given territory. Responsible for partnering closely with associates within the market and external sources to consult on sales opportunities. This is critical to the success of the team. Performs other projects and duties as assigned. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities: • Establishes market strategies, business development and pricing proposals for clients to earn given opportunities. • Schedules and completes calling activities with prospective and existing clients within the given markets to provide advisory services, product information and routine follow ups. • Collaborates with key stakeholders to set expectations on pricing, product implementation and proposals to enhance sales activities. • Maintains partnerships and alignment with business executives and senior management. • Maintains partnerships and alignment with product providers and negotiates key terms within the contracts for given prospects and existing clients. • Identifies key revenue growth opportunities for current clients and potential clients. • Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions, as well as ability to leverage information in creating customized client solutions. • Prepares and presents Treasury Management relationship reviews on a routine basis to offer Treasury solutions to clients. • Practices ethical sales behaviors in accordance with Ameris' core values of Integrity and Honesty; always acts in the best interest of the customer when offering additional products and services. Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: • Excellent sales skills. • Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills. • Strong problem-solving, negotiation and follow-up skills. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Computer literate; fluency in Microsoft Office Suite; and systems integration. • Influencing, and ability to be the subject matter expert. • Technical knowledge of products. • Conceptual thinking - identifies the critical interdependencies among systems that impact products and performance.
