You'll build world-class HR teams that leverage data, predictive analytics, and high judgment to deliver excellence throughout the employee lifecycle. The Regional Sr. HR Manager translates PXT priorities into clear, actionable strategy at the regional level, strengthening leadership capability and building scalable practices that support long-term growth.

They bring high judgment and operational depth to complex challenges-from investigations to talent decisions-leading with clarity, empathy, and accountability. Through strategic workforce planning, risk mitigation, and hands-on leadership, they prepare PXT and Operations teams to meet evolving business needs. Grounded in data, trusted by partners, and focused on results, they create the conditions where both people and the business can thrive.

You will be expected to work onsite at an Amazon facility and regularly travel (approximately 50% to various locations), ensuring personal connection and hands-on leadership where needed.

Key job responsibilities
• Translate PXT priorities into clear, actionable strategies at the regional level. Drive operational excellence by strengthening leadership capability, improving the employee experience, and building scalable practices that support performance and long-term growth through data-driven insights and high judgment decision making.
• Partner strategically with senior leaders to plan and execute long-term talent goals and business priorities. Act as the primary HR business partner for business line Regional Directors, managing PXT as a business by achieving key operational, financial, and team goals while balancing short and long-term objectives.
• Lead, teach and develop high-performing PXT teams by setting vision, providing coaching, monitoring service levels, and holding teams accountable. Ensure effective succession planning, talent development, and performance management across the region.
• Drive organizational health and positive employee experience through regular site inspections, feedback mechanisms, and deep-dive analytics to identify emerging trends and potential risks. Implement data-driven action plans to improve attendance, enhance engagement, reduce attrition, and foster a thriving workplace culture while proactively addressing challenges across all sites
• Manage risk and compliance by anticipating trends, addressing employee relations issues, and ensuring adherence to policies and regulations. Partner with Legal and Employee Relations on sensitive cases and serve as an escalation point for complex issues.
• Lead change management and communications initiatives across the region, providing clear direction aligned with organizational vision. Act as the designated champion for organizational transformations and operational changes.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders (e.g., Centers of Excellence, shared services) and community partners. Serve as an external face for Amazon while fostering meaningful community relationships and initiatives.

A day in the life

Your day will be a dynamic blend of strategic leadership and hands-on problem-solving, balancing virtual management with on-site engagement across multiple locations. A significant portion of your time will focus on coaching leadership teams and developing talent to ensure consistent delivery of excellence.

In your role, you'll maintain operational excellence by monitoring service levels, driving accountability, and managing critical escalations to maintain high performance standards. You'll partner with diverse stakeholders to create efficient, scalable solutions that achieve both people and business objectives while identifying and implementing innovative approaches to HR challenges, always with an eye on creating Earth's best place to work.

Crisis management and key decision validation will be crucial components as you address urgent issues impacting the workforce and business operations. Throughout your day, you'll seamlessly shift between immediate tactical needs and long-term strategic initiatives, using technology and data-driven insights to efficiently prioritize and manage your network's diverse requirements. Your role will demand both innovative thinking and operational rigor as you work to create meaningful impact across your region.
