- Serves as a senior strategic generalist and executes responsibility for the operations of a designated portfolio of subordinate distribution centers
- Synchronize long-range enterprise plans with tactical execution and provide top-level support in resolving day-to-day operational challenges
- Leads the conceptualization and execution of major modernization initiatives within their footprint
- Develops and enforces rigorous performance metrics, leveraging data analytics to identify systemic bottlenecks and drive continuous process improvement
- Directs operations across multiple distribution centers, enables critical modernization efforts, monitors resource allocations, and supports the development of overarching process and procedural changes

QualificationsTo qualify for a Regional Site Deputy Director, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable
specialized experience includes:
- Providing strategic oversight, executive leadership, and full supervisory authority for a designated portfolio of distribution centers, ensuring operational execution aligns with strategic directives
- Exercising administrative and technical supervision over subordinate directors across multiple installations, establishing long-range performance objectives, aligning workforce capabilities with mission demands, and resolving complex, high-level organizational and personnel challenges
- Delivering comprehensive mentorship and advocacy for subordinate leadership, managing comprehensive human capital strategies to ensure the portfolio is resilient, properly staffed, and fully trained
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
