JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts across the West Coast and Western Canada regions. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans aligned with our overall business objectives. The Regional Sales Manager will focus on expanding market share, driving revenue growth, and maximizing profitability within this high-potential territory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • West Coast states: Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, and four states of Western Canada.
  • Achieve all assigned annual sales targets and performance objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all identified business opportunities in Salesforce to ensure effective tracking of sales progress and project development.
  • Manage the regional sales pipeline and provide weekly updates on progress toward monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Conduct professional product demonstrations and presentations during customer site visits to showcase company offerings.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders in alignment with company policies and objectives.
  • Collaborate with Product Application Specialists and Customer Support Representatives to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Represent the company at regional and national trade shows, as appropriate, to support business development efforts.
  • Continuously enhance product and industry knowledge by participating in training sessions and departmental meetings.
  • Leverage marketing data and sales tools to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide market and customer insights into Product Marketing, Engineering, and Operations teams to support strategic alignment.
  • Partner with Product Managers and the North American Sales Director to identify target customers, introduce new products, and manage the existing product portfolio.
  • Monitor and report on competitor products and activities to inform internal strategy and positioning.
  • Keep customer account information-including contacts, opportunities, and communications-accurate and current in Salesforce.
  • Submit timely and accurate expense reports while adhering to company travel and cost management policies.
  • Uphold a high standard of professionalism, diplomacy, and tact in all customer and internal interactions.


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of strong technical sales experience including direct B2B sales, capital equipment sales, sales channel, distributor.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Proven ability to manage sales activity and forecasts effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
  • Ideally located near a major airport within the west coast region to facilitate efficient travel (Preferrably: Utah, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or Nevada)


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Prior experience in the sale of test and measurement equipment.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Industry background in fuel analysis, Condition-Based Maintenance, Equipment Reliability and/or Petroleum Refining.


Compensation

Employee Type: Salaried

Salary Minimum: $90,000

Salary Maximum: $140,000
