Overview

Bruker Daltonics is seeking a Regional Sales Manager based in the Northeast. In this role, the Regional Sales Manager will lead a dedicated sales team and work closely with product specialists and application experts to maximize Life Sciences sales opportunities across the assigned U.S. Northeast region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a regional sales team, including setting clear targets and performance goals for four Field Sales Representatives.
  • Develop and execute regional strategies to meet or exceed sales volume objectives.
  • Ensure an efficient end-to-end sales process-from lead generation and funnel management to demos, closing, and instrument placement-leveraging Product Specialists, Applications, and Service resources appropriately.
  • Support and coach field representatives in managing their territories, identifying and closing opportunities, prioritizing key accounts, and communicating market insights to Marketing, Sales, Service, Applications, and Logistics.
  • Conduct regular joint field travel with representatives to assess progress, provide guidance, and strengthen customer engagement.
  • Organize regional sales meetings, recurring team calls, and territory-specific events (e.g., sales roadshows with Marketing support).
  • Maintain ongoing communication with senior management, including detailed monthly activity reports, accurate sales forecasts (current quarter, 3-6-month outlook, and rolling 1-year unit forecast), NOB metrics, competitive intelligence, and won/lost analysis.
  • Manage regional resource needs, including Product Specialist support and demo instrument allocation.
  • Drive local-level sales strategies to expand customer awareness, maximize sales opportunities, and enhance customer satisfaction to support referrals.

At Bruker, the base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $109,500.00 and $175,000.00 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on several job-related factors, including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge, and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits, including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
