Full Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager, is a key member of the Advanced Insulation sales team providing strategic leadership and is responsible for driving maximum sales volume in defined region, managing profitability, executing channel strategies, and developing the Regional Sales Team's performance. This role partners with the Advanced Insulation Business Manager to seek out opportunities for growth and then develop team action plans for achievement to support the business objectives.

Position is remote based, with the ideal candidate residing east of the Mississippi.

Job Responsibilities

  • Exceed Segment sales budget by executing the channel strategy.
  • Provide direction and development for sales team to drive positive performance and grow the business using World-Class Sales & Marketing methodologies.
  • Establish key account strategy and develop executive and manager level customer relationships.
  • Utilize market and product category knowledge, sales skills, and understanding of channel requirements to coordinate and leverage resources that will maximize business with customer base.
  • Effectively hire, manage, coach and develop a team of sales professionals
  • Ensure relevant customer, market, contract agreements and project data are captured and entered into internal systems and processes.
  • Provide detailed forecast and budget plans at an account, project, and product level to provide clarity to internal business partners.
  • Submit monthly reports providing market information, customer and competitor information analysis, sales trends, market forecasts and other key data points.
  • Perform market analysis to develop competitive pricing strategies to achieve segment budget requirements and deliver the strategic objectives.
  • Create, manage, and negotiate customized sales and marketing programs that are consistent with the channel strategy to intentionally optimize share in the market.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of existing and new product offerings as well as general industry technology. Translate product development needs to the organization and be an advocate for products that meet market requirements.
  • Develop new business targets to accelerate growth within the segment. Coordinate with Component Foams Division on opportunities to synergize within the organization and portfolio to provide value to and gain share within the market.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution of the channel strategy.
  • Communicate "voice of the customer" to key business / strategy leaders to help drive the right behaviors, activities, decisions


Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Operations or related field required or combination of experience and education.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience in manufacturing environment required.
  • Proven ability to lead effective teams and manage others.
  • Must have experience in developing effective relationships and delivering profitable growth.
  • Ability to excel in a cross-cultural, global team environment.
  • Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Can work independently and multi-task in faced paced environment.
  • Possesses professional written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office application
  • Experience with a CRM system - salesforce.com would be optimal
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and willingness to travel overnight 60% or as needed.


The expected compensation range for this role is $120,000.00 -$140,000.00.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience, and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
