Job Description:
The Regional Sales Manageris responsible fordriving sales growth ofCopelandHVACR portfolio through contractors and distributors. Copeland has been a leading provider of heating and cooling solutions for residential applications, serving HVACR wholesale distribution for more than 75 years. In this role, you will lead a team of eight Territory Sales Executives (TSE) and one rep group covering nine states (TX, OK, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, GA, FL).

AS AREGIONAL SALES MANAGER, YOU WILL:
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Territory Sales Executives (TSE) to enhance performance and drive results.
Establish andmaintainstrong relationships with key customers and their senior level management to ensure our sales team is in a favorable position to succeed.
Track sales activities todeterminesales progress and suggest improvements.
Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to refine strategy and uncover new opportunities.
Assistin customer reviews.
Ensure we have presence at distributor events.
Spend time with each TSE visiting key customers.
Recommend and implement improvements to achieve sales goals.
Resolve problems quickly to create positive customer experiences.
Use Salesforce to ensure KPI 27s are met and customer data is up to date.
Hold bi-weekly meetings via Teams with your direct reports.
Collaborate cross-functionally withoperations, marketing, product planning, and engineering to deliver customer-focused solutions and portfolio growth.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
5+ years of sales experience supporting 2-step HVACR wholesale distribution, MRO, Plumbing channels, or other technical sales/market experience.
Proven ability to lead high-performing sales teams and achieve sales targets.
Proven success in developing customer relationships and driving sales growth.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
Strong organizational, time management, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Resilience under pressure and sound judgment on when to escalate issues.
Mustbe authorized towork in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
Remote Work Arrangement:
This role is fully remote. As a remote colleague, you maybe requiredto travel to a Copeland site regularly to collaborate with your team or customers as needed. Copeland is committed to fostering a productive and connected culture, so you will have the opportunity to work with your team and leader to understand yourteamoperating principles to collaborate effectively.
This role requires frequent travel within the territory, averaging 50% overnight travel.The territory consists ofTexas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida.The person in this role mustresidewithin the territory.
Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which weoperate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process.In accordance withColorado EPEWA, the salaryrange for this role is $120,000-$130,000 annually,commensuratewith the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidatebrings toa role. Additionally, we have a quarterly bonus program and provide a company vehicle.
