POSITION SUMMARY: The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for direct sales of all Bettcher Processing Equipment to the meat and poultry industries within the assigned territory.
RESPONSIBILITIES:The duties & responsibilities of the Regional Sales Manager include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:
- Drive regional sales growth through new account acquisition and expansion of existing relationships
- Lead customer transitions to new product platforms and support adoption initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate leadership and plant management
- Conduct product demonstrations and effectively communicate the value of Bettcher solutions
- Identify and pursue competitive opportunities to increase market share
- Utilize CRM tools to manage pipeline, customer data, and territory performance
- Maintain strong account management practices and identify new business opportunities
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and operational alignment
- Provide regular reporting and market insights to support sales strategy and product development
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:- Bachelor's degree. (Business Administration, Animal/Meat Science or equivalent a plus)
- 3-5 years proven regional sales management experience
- Proven growth through new customer acquisition and large account management success
- Knowledge of food processing a plus
