Position OverviewThe Regional Sales Director (RSD) is responsible for developing and executing sales activities within an assigned region while providing field-based leadership to a team of Account Managers. This role drives performance through effective coaching, talent development, and strategic oversight to ensure sales goals are consistently met or exceeded.
The RSD plays a key role in building a high-performing, engaged team, supporting professional growth and maximizing individual and collective potential. This position reports directly to the Area Sales Director.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure sales goals are consistently achieved
- Recruit, hire and manage a high performing team
- Coordinate in-field activity to achieve results with agreed-upon accounts
- Maximize market segment and team dynamics to drive both top-and bottom-line
- results
- Effectively plan and conduct region plan of action and other meetings as needed
- Develop and execute business plans to meet and exceed sales objectives for assigned
- region
- Maintain required technical expertise to respond accurately to all questions regarding
- products, policies, and business-related issues from both employees and customers
- Consistently demonstrate a high sense of urgency and follow-up while maintaining a
- high level of integrity in all business interactions
- When required, be willing and able to cover key accounts (both virtual and in person)
- in geography as required during account manager vacancies
- Follow all established occupational health and safety procedures, good manufacturing
- practices (GMP's) and standard operating procedures (SOP's)
- Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity,
- quality, and teamwork
- Perform ad-hoc work/special projects as necessary to support Tonix on various
- business initiatives
- Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access on a regular basis
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS degree, preferably in life sciences or business administration) from an accredited University or College is required
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales management experience (managing field sales reps) required
- Demonstrated sales history of success, leading teams, and developing talent
- Patient access and market access pull-through experience and knowledge is required
- Proven ability to deliver candid, effective feedback and efficiently manage performance
- Knowledge of FDA Marketing Compliance, PhRMA Guidelines, and the Sunshine Act
- Ability for travel 3 to 4 days per week; overnight and weekend travel is to be expected
- using all means of transportation as required.

Preferred Qualifications- Experience in fibromyalgia, rheumatology, neurology or pain management preferred
- Product launch experience preferred
Salary Range
$144,000-$195,000 USD
